I seek aesthetic beauty in imperfection.

I do not let failure of my new experiments overtake me.
I am a photographer, not a photoshop artist.
I love making new friends - I am blessed with a large friend circle which enjoys steady growth.
I love exercise - I am no fitness fanatic but I workout regularly to keep myself in good health.
I love sweets - Dare I say that there is nothing too sweet for me?
I love watching movies - Nothing refreshes me like a no nonsense film does.
I love music - Classical instrumental music is the best food for my soul.
I love cooking - My friends can't get enough of my pasta bake and kadai paneer.
I love travelling - New places, new culture, new cuisine, new photographic opportunities. Fantastic!
I love nature - Landscapes, sunrise, sunset, flowers, oceans, lakes, rivers, clouds and all other wonders.
I love wildlife - Animals, birds, insects. There is abundant beauty to be enjoyed in them.
I love stained glass - I am just fascinated by stained glass.
I love technology - I am not a gadget freak but I believe in harnessing new technology for comfortable living.

Portraits of an Indian Classical Music Virtuoso
I created some portraits of Priest Anil Kumar Dwivedi of Reading Temple recenetly for his forthcoming concert in London.
I made it to top 20 in

I participated in Bing - Your Britain Photo Competition on 22nd June 2011 with 5 photographs.
I am quite excited that one of them has made it to top 20 finalists for people's choice award.

Creative Photography blog is underway
Would it not be a good idea to kill two birds with one stone?
On the face value, blogging seems to be very easy as it is omnipresent these days. However, there is more to blogging than installing wordpress and one of the swanky themes to go with it.
More so if it is a professional photographer's blog. Honestly speaking, I was not impressed when I learnt that one of the 'coolest' wordpress theme designed specially for professinal photographer blogs required all the photographs to be of certain aspect ratio. I would like to meet a professional photographer who appreciates the time wasted in cropping all his photographs this way before being able to post them!
I am sure there is a better way out there since I can not be the first photographer to have stumbled upon such issues. I will keep looking.

Session Fee
£200 for studio, park, field, at-home session or location shoot of your choice (additional charges may apply for large family groups).
The session fee is for my time only and is due upon booking the appointment. I understand that situations arise with little ones, so if you need to reschedule your session, please call me at least 24 hours in advance. Your pre-paid session fee is good for six months after your originally scheduled appointment.
